Q: In April of last year I bought a Casio mens G Shock in America. It goes into a 'sleep' mode to save energy sometimes, which is fine.
But recently, when I activate it, it has reset itself to 12.00, year 2000. Its happened a few times recently, and its very annoying.
Anybody else had this problem? I wondered if it could be caused by keeping my mobile phone near it?

Q: I have had this Casio wave ceptor/tough solar G-shock watch about a year. It was brand-new when I bought it and, and, being a student, I have not put it through any intense physical activities that can possibly damage it.

One day I decided to clean the watch by soaking it in clean water for about 30 minutes (after doing some work in the yard) and it gets foggy. This means moisture got into the watch. This watch is supposed to withstand water pressure at 200m, how does this happen? The fog goes away after a while, but what do I do if I want to keep it for a long time (how to repair?). Thanks.

A: The watch has managed to let some water into it. The moisture inside is condensing on the inside of the glass. It in fact has failed to be waterproof - you need to return it to Casio under its warranty.
