The parents of a Kensington teenager abducted 30 years ago on his way home from school have made a heart-breaking plea for information about his disappearance.

Martin Allen, 15, was last seen at Kings Cross underground station on November 5, 1979, as he made his way back to his Hyde Park Gate home from school.

At around 4.30pm that day a witness saw a man with his arm around a boy fitting Martin's description at Gloucester Road tube station, resulting in an artist's impression of a male suspect being circulated across the country.

The man, who was 6ft tall, in his 30s, well built with blonde hair and moustache, was overheard saying "don't try to run", to the boy as he got off the tube at Earls Court.

Since then detectives have drawn a blank despite several extensive appeals for information about the boy, including a search of every residential property in Earls Court and interviews with hundreds of west London residents.
