The crew of the British 72-foot yacht R�N is on tenterhooks this morning, perhaps on the verge of achieving a remarkable double in ocean racing, to win both the Rolex Fastnet Race and the Rolex Sydney Hobart on corrected time in the same year.

R�N, owned by Niklas Zennstrom, the founder of Skype, the internet phone system, began the morning as the leader on corrected time for the race. It was fifth across the finish line yesterday just before 9.30am.

At 6.40am today, there are only two yachts in a position of beating the Judel/Vrolijk for the coveted Tattersall�s Cup, the Holy Grail of the Hobart race. However, both are still at sea, but facing near-headwinds once they reach Storm Bay.

Andrew Saies� new South Australian 40-footer Two True, is currently showing as first overall, but needs to make better speed this morning. Two True has also had a protest lodged against her by the Tasmanian yacht She�s The Culprit following a collision at the first rounding mark

You can pay to have the watch sent to Rolex, they will authenticate it. They will tell you if there are any aftermarkets parts. Its usually the dial or the bezel or band that is aftermarket. Be very careful buying preowned Rolex watches, even if they still have the box. You can now buy boxes for your preowned to resell them. If your person is selling ligit, he won't mind you getting the watch authenticated - do it, you will be very sorry if you buy one with aftermarket parts. They are hard to sell!!!

Q: I get unsolicited emails sometimes offering knockoff Rolex watches. The knockoff Rolex products look essentially identical to the genuine type. Do jewelry stores confiscate fake Rolex & other lucrative brand watch products as required by law? Why can't USA and other nations where the manufacturers produce genuine watches pressure the particular nations to crack down on producing knockoff for copyright/patent violation?

A: When you go to a serious (Rolex) watch dealer, he will always see the difference with a copy ! It is the only way to be sure. The difference is sure in the movement used for starters.

They are never traded through email offers, count on it.

I live in Shanghai at this moment, and can inform you that all the foreign tourists go and look for the copy market. I live nearby, daily I am asked where it is exactly ! So if we refrain from wanting to buy copies, the problem could be solved as it would not be lucrative any more.
Personally I would never want to own any copy of anything. Go for real, it is worth it.
