Q: I purchased one month ago an expensive Tag Heuer swatch, Aquaracer 500M Calibre 5, but Today I've lived a nightmare, when I found it stopped, I want to know how much time shall an automatic Tag Heuer swatch stop after you leave it ? I found it stopped after 4 or 16 hours, I mean I left it @ 11:00 PM and today I found it stopped @ 3:00 I dunno if that was after I left it 4 hours or 16.

A: I believe that for whatever reason you weren't active enough to get your watch fully wound. I believe you can pull the crown out to the first position and wind this watch by hand.

You should get about 48 hours of reserve time from this movement if it's fully wound.

This is not uncommon and it's certainly not a nightmare. Your watch is probably in great shape. If you can move it a bit and get it going - it's fine. Get the manual out and see if you can handwind it. You could also get a winder for it when you take it off.

It could be that your movement is just tight and will wind easier as you wear it.
