It's not all bad news for Tiger these days.

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer, a major sponsor of Tiger Woods, publicly backed the philandering golfer on Wednesday, despite previous claims that the company would ditch him.

The watchmaker initially pulled pictures of Woods from its Web sites after salacious details of alleged affairs surfaced.

However, according to The Mirror, the company reposted the images on Wednesday with the headline "TAG Heuer supports Tiger Woods."

TAG Heuer has called the previous removal of the photos a "supportive move."

"TAG Heuer confirms today that it will continue its relationship with golf No. 1 Tiger Woods but will respect his desire of privacy by modifying his role in the coming months' marketing programs," the site stated. "Tiger Woods became a TAG Heuer brand ambassador in 2002. The relationship between the leader in prestigious sports watches and chronographs since 1860 and golf virtuoso Tiger Woods has always been extremely professional and productive."

A: It is a pretty good sports watch. I have had one for over 10 years now with absolutely no problems. One thing to consider while buying is whether to go with a leather strap or a steel bracelet - I seem to go through the leather straps every couple years and it tends to add up. But then again, I personally think the leather straps look sporty!

As for the comparision to Rolex: Rolex has a lot more cache.
