Visible in nearly every major airport around the country these days, the lightboard ads for the Accenture company are almost too perfect - Tiger Woods, standing near some rocks off the bank of a creek, is searching for a lost ball next to the words:

"It's what you do next that counts."

The next thing Accenture did was send him up the creek without a paddle.

How so very shortsighted. The global consulting firm -- no one in the sports world would even know existed without Woods' endorsement -- flushed it all away after consulting with itself, saying he was "no longer the right representative" for the company's image.

Imagine that.
