Our Terms and Conditions
It is our passion to provide exceptional customer service and to exceed your expectations. The following terms and conditions are not meant to indimidate or hide anything from you but rather to provide you with answers to any questions you may have regarding our normal business practices. PLEASE DO NOT BID on any of our items without first reading these terms and conditions, as once you have placed a bid you will have agreed to these conditions.
Hours of Operation. We typically are available and at a computer from 6am-3pm MST except Wednesdays and Sundays (our days off). You can Email Us or contact us by phone at 1-719-266-6520. If you contact us after hours or on our day off we will return your email or call as promptly as possible and always within 24 hours.
Feedback. We leave positive feedback once we receive your cleared payment. We will never make you wait until you leave positive feedback for us. We only ask that you give us a chance to fix any problems or concerns before leaving negative feedback for us. Once you are satisfied and happy with your purchase your positive feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Frequent Buyer Rewards. Please check out our rewards/cash back program available for our customers using Paypal. If you are a regular customer who pays by check or money order please contact us for a discount on your next purchase.
Photos. While we try very hard to provide the best possible pictures of our items we are by no means professional photographers. Colors may appear slightly different due to imperfect pictures or individual monitor settings on your personal computer. Please email us with any questions so we may help clarify any concerns.
Payment. We accept personal checks (drawn on a US bank), cashiers' or bank checks, money orders (in US dollars) and Paypal. Orders by personal check will not ship until your check clears - normally this will take twenty (20) days, but we will ship sooner if our bank notifies us that your check has cleared. Should your personal check not clear you agree to be responsible for any fees assessed by our bank.
Shipping and Handling Charges. Shipping and handling charges are as stated in each auction. These prices include a small handling charge for high quality custom boxes and protective packaging. This fee is based on our actual costs and complies with all Ebay policies regarding such fees.
Shipping Schedule. We typically ship every order within 1-2 days of receiving cleared payment. All Express Mail orders will go out within 24 hours. We will send you an email once your item has shipped with tracking information if your shipping choice includes one.
Insurance. We offer insurance as an option in all of our auctions. We may not refund your money if items are lost, damaged, or destroyed in transit if you do not purchase insurance. We highly suggest purchasing insurance especially when using low cost shipping options without tracking or on any international shipments. We will accept all responsibility relating to your item being packaged securely and shipped properly.
Sales and Use Taxes. State and local taxes will be added to your winning bid if you live in the state of Colorado. The rate curently ranges between 2.9% and 7.4% depending on where in Colorado you reside.
Note to International Buyers. Your purchase may be subject to Value-Added Tax (VST), General Sales Tax (GST), customs duties, and other taxes or payments required by the law of your country. We are by no means experts in this area and would encourage you to consult with experts and advisors in your country before bidding as you will be responsible for any charges incurred on your order.
Bid Retractions. Once you have placed a bid in one of our auctions, "Your bid is a legal contract" and you may not retract it for any reason without our permission, which we may withhold in our sole discretion. Please DO NOT BID until you have all of the information you need about an item. We are always here to answer any questions you may have.
Nonpaying Buyers. We do not tolerate nonpaying buyers (NPB's). If you are the winning bidder and you fail to contact us within 3 days after an auction closes or if you fail to pay within 7 days after an auction closes we will presume you are a nonpaying buyer, your purchase will be canceled, you will be reported to Ebay, and you will be barred from ever bidding again on our auctions. If however you contact us promptly and have run into financial or technical difficulties we will work with you in a reasonable manner.
Auction Termination. We reserve the right to terminate any auction prior to the closing date should the need arise. In that event we will notify each bidder, and let them know whether and when the item will be reposted.
Communication to Seller. All communication to us should be sent to the followng Email address peakprestige@msn.com. We prefer that all communication goes through Ebay's "contact seller" link but will respond to any email sent to us.
Disputes and Negative Feedback. Before opening any formal complaints, disputes or leaving negative feedback you agree to Contact Us and allow 24-48 hours for us to respond and correct any problems or offer alternative resolutions. You will find that we truly want to make you happy and even if a problem is not directly our fault we will make all reasonable efforts to find an agreeable resolution.
