The silver band version can be had with pink, green, or orange LCD backgrounds.

by Eric Limer | 1:10 pm, February 21st, 2012 As part of its enduring fondness for watches which aren't immediately decipherable, Tokyoflash has released yet another watch that isn't exactly what it seems. The Kisai Stencil Watch, while a little weird
By James Holloway Masters of obfuscated timepieces Tokyo Flash have always (well, since 2010) been open to consumer ideas for watch displays that are at first glance baffling but easy to read once you know the knack. With its fan-conceived Kisai
As much as it looks like a retro game, the Tokyo Flash Kisai Stencil is actually a rather nice watch. It's pretty simple once you know how. The lines on the face form the edges of the numbers, so you read the negative space.Tokyo Flash People Talk
Q: I'm looking for a Christmas gift for my brother, who collects watches as a hobby. I want to get him something way out of the ordinary, both to rib him a little about his obsession, and to make sure I don't duplicate something he already has. Is anyone here familiar with Tokyoflash at www.tokyoflash.com? These watches are certianly different, but does anyone know if they are any good as watches , or are they just so much gadgety junk? And if so, where else can I find interesting watches of good quality?
A: You can buy them from
http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8& amp;keywords=01%20The%20One&tag=p045 -20&index=watches&linkCode=ur2&a mp;camp=1789&creative=9325
Hope this helps
Good luck!
- Sorry, but I don't know. Look it up on google. "Are Tokyo Flash watches good quality?" You'll probably find an answer there. Good luck!
Q: What kind of flash mob would you take part in?
A: The freeze action looked quite fun and it would be great to see peoples reaction. Sudden dancing ones looked fun as well. BUT, it would have to be planned and the location would have to be well thought out. (Some areas during the wrong hour would cause tons of problems)
Good staging areas with the space I'd recommend (I am sure there are more and even better ones with the right research):
Shinagawa station East exit. This space has been used for television shows and has quite a bit of space to work with.
Ueno station bridge. A huge bridge over the tracks, lots of great light here and quite a bit of space. (sometimes homeless congregate here though, don't know how that'd play out)
Ueno park. Around the fountains near the park is large areas for walking, quite beautiful. (Also a homeless area of congregation)
Omiya Station Pedestrian bridges, west exit. Cool variety of closely consecrated bridge works. Could work nice.
Fujisawa. The same as above, although the space can get tighter here.
Thats just a small sampling. But, be sure to check with the local police or research about such an activity. Laws are different here and such activities can be seen as disruptive.
I would be quite interested to be a part of any sort of flash mob. :-D
