Q: My husband wants to get me a citizens watch and it costs almost $400...BUT, I thought citizens was a cheap brand, why is that one so expensive?
I does have a couple of tiny diamonds though, but idk if i like the brand. What are some good womens watches?

Bulova, Citizen or seiko

A: Bulova, Citizen and Seiko are all very similar, good quality watches. It all depends in what you're looking for and how much you want to spend.

A step down, but not much, from these brands would be Fossil, Anne Klein, Guess, Kenneth Cole, and Dolce & Gabbanna. Another brand that's makes a great ladies watches is Skagen. They have are known for their slim modern look. These brands all range in the $60 - $199 price point.

As step up from these brands would be Hamilton, Tissot, Gucci, Movado, Longines, Swiss Legend. These range in the $200 - $4,000 price point.

You can go higher still, but I like sticking to the Fossil, KC, Skagens. They fit my budget better and then i can get a variety of watches.
