Customers at Pritchard Jewellers have been taking advantage of the discount they receive on jewellery and watches when they use the newspaper’s loyalty card.

Manager Becky Corrigan said: “People have been using their cards because there is a 10 per cent discount on any new watch or jewellery.

“We got involved because it’s nice to be supporting local busineses in Worcester. Our customers like it. It’s always nice to have a bit of a discount off anything isn’t it?”

The shop in the Foregate, Worcester, has been providing a thoughtful, personal service to customers for 30 years and it sells Seiko, Rotary and Citizen watches together with silver and fine gold jewellery.

The firm has a workshop on site and it also carries out jewellery and watch repairs.

Miss Corrigan said: “I think people like us because we offer personal service. They get to know us as well.
